Please read these "Terms and Conditions" carefully as they constitue an ongoing contract between you and M/s Life Online. M/s Life Online owns the ilovereadin library and allows you to join this library and rent books from it. http://www.iloveread.in (henceforth referred to as the "ilovereadin website") and its associated services are brought to you by M/s Life Online.
Registering on the ilovereadin website by clicking the "Register" link, filling and submitting the registration form, and subsequently confirming your email address by clicking on the url sent to you on your email will allow you to access the ilovereadin website as a "website user". As website user, you may browse our catalogue and explore the website functionalities. However, you may not rent books from the ilovereadin library or "ask for a delivery". Some website functions may not be accessible to you. By purchasing any of the subscription plans displayed on the "Subscribe" link on the ilovereadin website, you may become a "ilovereadin member". As an ilovereadin member, you may rent books from the ilovereadin library according to your subscription plan.
By checking the "Agree to our terms and conditions" checkbox in the subscription form, you accept all items in the terms and conditions and agree by and legally bound by these terms and conditions.
M/s Life Online reserves the right to, with or without notice, change these terms and conditions in its sole and absolute discretion. The most current version of these terms and conditions supersedes all previous versions and can be viewed by clicking the "terms and conditions" link located at the bottom of each page on the ilovereadin website.
About ilovereadin
M/s Life Online allows subscribers to rent books from the ilovereadin library using the ilovereadin website. On the website, users and members can create their own queues of books that indicate the books they want to read. When members "ask for delivery", 2 books from this queue will be delivered to them as per the conditions detailed below.
Membership, charges, discounts, cancellation and expiry
1. Membership: Memberships to the ilovereadin library are on a quarterly / half yearly / yearly basis. As a website user, you can become a member by purchasing a subscription plan of your choice based on the duration you wish to be a member. As an existing member, you might purchase a subscription plan for the period after which your existing subscription will expire. While purchasing, the ilovereadin website will clearly mention the starting date and expiry date of the subscription plan you have selected in the subscription form itself (available on clicking the "Subscribe" link).
2. Subscription charges: The price of every subscription plan has 3 components " a registration fee, a deposit and a flat fee. The registration fee and flat fee are non-refundable components, whereas, the deposit can be claimed back by you on cancellation of membership or on expiry of subscription. Your subscription period will start from the day of purchase OR the date of expiry of your existing subscription, whichever is applicable.
3. Discounts / promotional offers: M/s Life Online may offer discounts / promotional offers. As part of this M/s Life Online may reduce the registration fee or the deposit. M/s Life Online may also choose to offer a "discount" via a discount coupon number. A discount coupon may be used only once. This discount will be only on the flat fee. For refund calculations, the actual fees paid will be considered.
4. Cancellation of membership: As a member, you are entitled to cancel your membership if you may wish to. In order to cancel, you have to write an email or hand written / typed and signed letter saying that you wish to cancel your membership. On receipt of the same, we will immediately process the cancellation. On cancellation, you are liable to return the ilovereadin books in your possession within a week"s time. Failure to do so will entitle M/s Life Online to charge you for the book at the rate of MRP + 50% handling charges. On cancellation M/s Life Online is liable to pay you the deposit that you had paid while subscribing. Such payment will be done by cheque or demand draft. M/s Life Online is not liable to pay you back the registration fee or the subscription fee that you paid for unused months. However, if business permits, and as a measure of goodwill, M/s Life Online may choose to refund you for unused membership at the rate at which you paid M/s Life Online. In no cases will M/s Life Online refund you for half unused months. For e.g., suppose you purchase a yearly subscription plan from the ilovereadin website on Dec 25, 2009. Suppose for this you pay Rs. 500 as registration fee, Rs 300 as deposit, Rs. 2200 as the flat fee and you avail Rs. 500 discount using a discount coupon. Further suppose that you decide to cancel your membership on July 15, 2010. In such an event, M/s Life Online is liable to pay you back the deposit of Rs. 300 only. M/s Life Online is not liable to pay you back any money for the unused months from July 25 " Dec 25, 2010. However, if business permits, and as a measure of goodwill, M/s Life Online may choose to refund you (the flat fee " discount) for the unused months. For this example, it comes to Rs 708.33 (Rs 2200 " Rs 500 ) * 5 / 12 ).
5. Expiry of membership: The expiry date of your current subscription is clearly mentioned on the top right corner of every page. We recommend that you purchase subscription plans well before the expiry of your plan. If your subscription plan expires, then you cease to be a member of the ilovereadin library and will be only a website user. In such an event, M/s Life Online is liable to pay you back the deposit paid by you while purchasing the subscription plan.
Borrowals
6. Borrowals: As an ilovereadin member, you may borrow books from the ilovereadin library. In order to do so, you have to login into the ilovereadin website and add books from the ilovereadin catalogue to your queue. The catalogue will not be displayed completely to you. However, you can search and browse the catalogue using the ilovereadin website. When you wish to borrow books, you have to click on "ask for delivery".
7. Your queue: Your queue ("My queue" on the ilovereadin website) represents your wishlist of books. You can add upto 9 books to your queue and we recommend that you keep your queue full at all times. You can also change the order of books in your queue to indicate priority.
8. Ask for delivery: When you click on "ask for delivery", M/s Life Online will dispatch any 2 available books from your queue to you. The choice of which two books to dispatch will remain solely with M/s Life Online. All efforts will be made such that the 2 chosen books are highest in priority in your queue (ahead in queue). However M/s Life Online doesn"t guarantee this. "Ask for delivery" button will be disabled if the number of books in your queue is less than 6. In order to rent books by asking for a delivery, your queue must have at least 6 books. Suppose no book in your queue is available, M/s Life Online will communicate the same to you and request you to add / change books in your queue.
Delivery
9. Condition of delivery: The 2 said books will be delivered to you at the address you have specified in the member profile form within 2 days. Upon delivery, M/s Life Online will collect ilovereadin books already in your possession from you such that after delivery is complete, you have a maximum of 2 ilovereadin books with you. In the event that you are unable to return books already in your possession to meet this, then M/s Life Online may refuse the delivery. In such an event, this will be counted as failure of delivery.
10. Delivery time: M/s Life Online may choose to deliver books to you through its employees or via an outsourced logistics partner. In either case, M/s Life Online assures delivery within 2 days. But for this we seek your co-operation. If you or your representative is unavailable at the address of delivery at the time of delivery, then it will count as a failed delivery. In cases of failed delivery, either due to unavailability of member at delivery address at delivery time or due to non-return of earlier books, M/s Life Online doesn"t guarantee a delivery time of 2 days.
11. Completion of delivery: Upon completion of delivery, the ilovereadin website will remove the delivered book from your queue.
Damages and losses
12. Damages: In the event of damages to an ilovereadin book, M/s Life Online will investigate the cause of the damage. If the damage is due to negligence / mishandling on your part, then you are liable to pay a fine to M/s Life Online. M/s Life Online may fix the fine for the damage of the book according to the estimated losses, but in no situation will the fine exceed the MRP of the book + 50% handling charges. Subsequent to your payment of such a fine, the damaged book belongs to you.
13. Losses: In the event of loss of an iloveread.in book, you are liable to pay a fine to M/s Life Online. M/s Life Online may fix the fine for the loss of the book according to the estimated losses, but in no situation will the fine exceed the MRP of the book + 50% handling charges.
14. Failure to pay fine: Suppose you fail to pay the fine to M/s Life Online billed to you for damages or losses, then your membership will be cancelled. In such an event, M/s Life Online is not liable to pay you back any part of your subscription fee including your deposit.
Unforeseen events and other liabilities
15. Unforeseen events: M/s Life Online takes extraordinary care of its books while in its warehouse or in transit and expects you to take care of it while in your possession. However, there might be instances where this is not possible, for e.g. in a storm, or in a fire, or other acts of God. Such cases, if proven worthy, will be dealt with in a case to case basis and M/s Life Online will not hold you liable for the return of the book. At the same time, unforeseen events might render M/s Life Online unable to service you. In such cases, namely, theft, strike, riots, fire, earthquake, storm or heavy rains, floods, tsunami or other acts of God, M/s Life Online is not liable to fulfill the normal terms of this contract.
16. Other liabilities: M/s Life Online is not responsible for injury or other damage of the physical, financial or any other kind that you or your family, friends or acquaintances incur in contact with or as a result of ilovereadin books. M/s Life Online doesn"t actively censer content and is not liable for any mental hurt caused due to the ilovereadin website or ilovereadin books.
Website information
17. Website content: M/s Life Online takes book cover and information from third party sources like publishers, distributors and other online sources for the ilovereadin website. M/s Life Online takes no guarantee of the accuracy of such content. You might receive a book cover that is different from what is shown on the ilovereadin website. M/s Life Online doesn"t guarantee accuracy of this kind of information.
18. Information submitted by user: M/s Life Online is free to use any comments, informations, ideas, conpets, etc present in any communication that you send to M/s Life Online / post on the ilovereadin website. However, it will not share such information with any third party without your written consent.

Copyright : All contents included on the ilovereadin website and delivered to you as part of the ilovereadin services, including the books themselves, are the property of M/s Life Online and its suppliers, or its advertisers, and are protected by Indian and international copyright laws. The compilation of the content on this website is the exclusive property of M/s Life Online, and protected by Indian and international copyright laws.
Content shall not be reproduced or used without express written permission from M/s Life Online, or its suppliers. You agree not to decompile, reverse engineer or disassemble any software or other products or processes accessible through the ilovereadin website, not to insert any code or product or manipulate the content of the ilovereadin website in any way that affects the user's experience, and not to use any data mining, data gathering or extraction method. M/s Life Online reserves the right to terminate your membership hereunder if M/s Life Online, in its sole and absolute discretion, believes that you are in violation of this paragraph, such violations including the photo copying of book(s) rented to you by us or the copying or other unauthorized use of our proprietary content. M/s Life Online does not promote, foster or condone the photocopying of book(s) or any other infringing activity. The use of book(s) rented to you by us is solely for your personal and non-commercial use. Please see the instructions at the end of these Terms of Use for notifying us of the presence of any allegedly infringing content on the ilovereadin website.
Trademarks: "iloveread.in", the iloveread.in logo, and all page headers, custom graphics and button icons are service marks, trademarks, and/or trade dress of ilovereadin and belong to M/s Life Online. All other trademarks, product names and company names or logos cited herein are the property of their respective owners.
Your use of the ilovereadin website and/or services and indemnification of M/s Life Online
Limitations on Use
The ilovereadin website and its content are for your personal, non-commercial use. M/s Life Online grants you a limited license to access and utilize the ilovereadin website for that purpose only. You may not download, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, publish, license, create derivative works from, or offer for sale any ilovereadin content without its express written consent.
ilovereadin's trademarks, service marks and trade dress may not be used in any way without prior written approval from M/s Life Online.
You agree to use the ilovereadin website and any associated service in accordance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations.
ilovereadin reserves the right to immediately terminate your limited license to utilize its website as a result of any unauthorized or illegal use, the contents of its website, and/or any associated service should ilovereadin become aware of that unauthorized or illegal use. Cooperation with Authorities and Courts
M/s Life Online will cooperate with legal authorities and private parties investigating claims of illegal activity. Such cooperation may include identification of you and other data relating to the use of the website. If such information is requested, you hereby authorize M/s Life Online to release any and all information, provided that it uses reasonable efforts to identify and provide you with notice of such request (if permitted by law).
International Use
Accessing materials, contents and services available on the website from territories where such materials, contents and services are illegal is prohibited. If you choose to access the website from such locations, you do so at your own risk, on your own initiative and shall be solely responsible for complying with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
Confidentiality
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account information and your password. If you reveal your password or share your account with anyone, you take full responsibility for his/her actions.
Indemnification

Reliance on Information
The ilovereadin website may include inaccuracies or typographical errors that may be corrected as they are discovered at the sole discretion of M/s Life Online.
Privacy

Right to terminate
M/s Life Online reserves the right to terminate or restrict your use of its website or any services it provides, without notice, for abuse of ilovereadin services. What constitutes abuse of ilovereadin services will be under M/s Life Online"s discretion. However, this does not mean that M/s Life Online has undertaken an obligation to supervise or police your activity on its website. Such termination will count as cancellation of subscription and revoking of status as website user.

You agree and hereby submit to the exclusive personal jurisdiction and venue of the courts in Chennai for the resolution of any disputes arising from these terms and conditions, use of the ilovereadin website, purchase of ilovereadin library membership subscriptions or other ilovereadin products, and/or use of the ilovereadin services.
Miscellaneous
If any term contained herein is determined to be unlawful, void or unenforceable for any reason, that term will be deemed severable from the whole, and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions, or the agreement as a whole. These terms and conditions and ilovereadin's privacy policy (incorporated herein) constitute the entire agreement among or between the parties relating to this subject matter.
